Iraqi Engineers Union Becomes an Official Sponsor of ITEX IRAQ 2026

The ITEX IRAQ 2026 team held a meeting with the President of the Iraqi Engineers Union, Eng. Dhulfiqar Al-Maksousi, to discuss cooperation and the Union’s participation in the fifth edition of ITEX IRAQ 2026.

The meeting highlighted the important role of the Iraqi Engineers Union in supporting Iraq’s digital transformation and infrastructure development, particularly across telecommunications, digital infrastructure, data centres, smart cities, automation, and major technology-driven projects.

The discussions also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between Iraq’s engineering community, government institutions, and the technology sector to support the implementation of national digital and infrastructure projects according to advanced professional and engineering standards.

As part of this cooperation, the Iraqi Engineers Union will participate as an Official Sponsor of ITEX IRAQ 2026, reinforcing the role of Iraqi engineers in developing the country’s digital economy, infrastructure, and future technology ecosystem.

ITEX IRAQ 2026 will bring together government institutions, professional organizations, technology companies, experts, and decision-makers to showcase projects, exchange expertise, and build strategic partnerships supporting Iraq’s digital future.

ITEX IRAQ 2026 will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2026 at the Baghdad International Fairground, bringing together government institutions, local and international companies, experts, and specialists across telecommunications, technology, and digital transformation.
