The Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC) was established under Law No. 74 of 2004 as an independent financial and administrative regulatory authority overseeing Iraq’s capital market. Its responsibilities include protecting investors, regulating and developing the securities market, licensing markets and brokerage companies, approving securities listings, supervising market institutions, and issuing regulatory instructions and frameworks. The Commission works to strengthen investor confidence, improve market transparency and efficiency, protect the market from financial risks, and support the development of a modern and sustainable investment environment in Iraq.
